FATPack (First Aid Trauma Pack) is a series of medical packs that offer volume-maximizing storage, and instant accessibility. Access your lifesaving contents with one intuitive downward pull! Available in three sizes: 4x6, 5x8, and 7x10.
A collaboration with Ken Harper @ Prepare-1, the FATPack 7x10 is 10” (H) x 7.5” (W) x 3.5” (D). It is the perfect size for group FAK, blowout kit, or trauma-based medical kit. It can pack a full range of medical supplies from a full-size SAM splint, elastic bandages, ice packs for immobilization, to medical instruments, tourniquets, hemostats, burn treatment, pressure dressings, etc.
Elastic loops over high-viz ripstop pockets in the main compartment’s center and side flaps can secure cylindrical items (e.g. Epipen and airway tubes), saving you precious time when seconds count. Improved shock cord storage ladder on the front flap with a removable fold-out window zipper pocket (7.5” W x 5.5” H) for small items.
Exterior MOLLE/PALS provides quick access to high-priority items. A large slip pocket with MOLLE-Air structure can be used as loop ID panel for blood type or other patches. Sturdy grab handle unzips dual #8 YKK zippers and hook-and-loop fastener.
MOLLE back panel let you attach FATPack using MOLLE Sticks (*optional), or convert it to a hook-and-loop attachment using the MOHL-Air adapter panel (*optional). FATPack’s versatility will make sure your lifesaving gear goes wherever you go!

I already had the 5x8 but bought the bigger size to carry more -like a CPR mask. I also bought red this time in case I needed to have someone grab it. “Hey, grab the red kit from my saddlebag!” My old kit was grey.
This is the new IFAK that I carry around for daily use, very compact as you can see with the comparison of the laptop next to it. Fits the majority of trauma gear I have put inside of it, with more getting stuffed into it soon here. Extremely durable, hasn’t broken a zipper or single thread unlike the other bags from Amazon I’ve had. By far one of the best Individual First Aid Kits I’ve carried around, would recommend to others looking for a more advanced IFAK bag to carry for daily use aswell. Props to Medical Gear outfitters (Vanquest) for their reliable gear.
Nice size, could use slightly larger ( that's what she said) but really like the pockets and different color background on n the inside. Good amount of room.
I started with one FATPack 7X10 (Gen-2) to build a car first aid kit and have since purchased two more. It's great having identical first aid kits in our truck, SUV, and car. The layout for quick access is very well thought out and easy to use.
Incredible bag!! It feels extremely durable. Well built product, its compact yet it holds a lot of trauma gear.
The best part of this is how it opens and spreads out to give access to all areas of the bag. There's no issues with it opening either, just grab handles and yank open. +++++
A better bag for building a modest trauma kit (especially for a compact vehicle kit.) other bag sizes are rather small size. I used this to build a kit for my in-laws vehicle. It won’t carry everything under the sun but I’ve found most won’t carry a massive kit like I’m willing do so this strikes a great balance.
One drawback/suggestion, I think the side pocket loops could use a tiny bit more fabric and/or elasticity so they can fit a TQ or pressure dressing package a bit easier…I really had to wiggle and push to get it on the sides.
I love how everything stays in place when you open it because of all the elastic loops. The bag it is replacing did not have enough, so things would fall out every time I needed to access the first aid supplies. Annoying, especially if what fell out was something I needed.
Great quality, lots of room, great organization options. Great for bleeding control and some more basic-intermediate stuff, and I have a smaller pouch for quick first aid. Won't hold absolutely everything you need for the basics, but gets close.
Awesome bag for a hiking/mountaineering/climbing first aid kit. Might be too large and bulky for some people, but has enough storage for tourniqets, splint, shears and all other stuff. I like that removable zipper pocket which can be used for pills and/or band-aids.
Special thanks to Medical Gear Outfitters for great service and fast delivery!
I own several of these bags, and while I don’t think they’re quite as cavernous as several people make them out to be, they are a really well designed, and well made bag! The service from Medical Gear Outfitters is top-notch!
Wanted to separate my car first aid/ survival gear from the trauma gear.
This works great for a trauma pack, just open it and you can see everything. Even in low light, you can find what you need. Even room for a headlamp, you never know what light will be available.
Can also grab and take it along when we travel.
